Stark Expo is in Flushing Meadows, New York. It is an expo that brings minds together from around the world and combines them to try and develop new things for the future of mankind and the world.
In the 1940s, Steve Rogers and his friend Bucky Barnes bring dates to the New York World's Fair, where a "Technology of the Future" exhibit is being presented by Howard Stark himself. Notable demonstrations were the Original Human Torch and a flying car based of repulsor technology (the same Howard's son, Tony, would perfect for his Iron Man Armor). The success of the presentation would lead Howard Stark to later expand the event into it's own Stark Expo.
Howard Stark created the expo in 1974 calling it the City of the Future, but was limited with the technology of his time so he couldn't complete it. Tony Stark brought it back to try and pull the world together with technology for the future.
Day 362 - Tony used the Iron Man suit to open it along with his Ironette Dancers. Tony introduced the expo then showed a video of his father describing his vision of the future. Chess Roberts reported on the opening.
Day 343 - Justin Hammer presented his Hammer Drones even though Ivan Vanko was the one who had created them. Vanko was controlling the drones and used them to try and kill Stark to avenge his father who was wronged by Tony's father. The Expo was left in ruins.
According to Pepper Potts, after the death of Ivan Vanko, all damage to the Expo was repaired.

Behind the scenes
- The Stark Expo is based on the real 1964 New York World's Fair, which also took place at the same site in Flushing Meadows, NY from April 22, 1964 to April 21, 1965. The Unisphere, the main symbol of the '64 fair is prominently featured in the final battle scene, as is the New York State Pavilion, which was re-imagined as the "Main Stage" at the Stark Expo. Both original 1964 structures are still standing today in the real Flushing Meadows Park.
- To promote Iron Man 2, the studio created a Stark Expo viral site that can be found here
