Sean Cassidy aka Banshee is a mutant with the ability of superhumanly powerful lungs, throat, and vocal cords could produce a sonic scream for various effects, in concert with limited, reflexive psionic powers which directed his sonic vibrations. He could hover or fly at the speed of sound.

Biography
X-Men: First Class
Banshee's unique sonic blasts carry him into flight. Like other young mutants, Banshee's powers reach their full potential only under Charles Xavier's patient tutelage, and in a battle that will have global consequences.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
He makes a brief cameo as a prisoner of William Stryker in his mutant testing facility on Three-Mile Island. He, along with the rest of the incarcerated mutants (Quicksilver, Emma Frost and Cyclops), escape with the help of Professor X.
X2: X-Men United
His name, along with his daughter's, appears on a list of names Mystique scrolls through on Stryker's computer while looking for Magneto's file.
