Paramount Pictures is the film production and distribution company that distributed the first four films (excluding The Incredible Hulk) of the Marvel Cinematic Universe produced independently by Marvel Studios. Paramount formerly owned the distribution rights to The Avengers and Iron Man 3 but sold them to Walt Disney Pictures in October 2010.

All live-action films distributed by Paramount Pictures based on Marvel Comics have been produced by Marvel Studios.
