Biography[]
X-Men: Evolution[]
"The Cauldron"[]
Upon hearing that Scott Summers' long lost younger brother, Alex Summers had been found living in Hawaii, Kurt, Kitty, Evan and Rogue were excited to go (as they considered this trip more of a vacation than a mission) but they were left behind. To compensate, Kurt came up with the idea to go to the local beach since they had been left unsupervised.
Along the road, the X-Men were attacked by the Brotherhood of Mutants and Nightcrawler was easily defeated in a one-on-one brawl with Avalanche. The X-Men then watched Rogue and the Brotherhood of Mutants get taken away by Magneto's transportion orbs.
After interrogating Toad (who Rogue had defeated) the X-Men learned that Magneto was pitting mutants against each other in lethal combat in order to weed out the weaker and taking the victors to be trained.
