  • "Hulk vs Wolverine" serves as a loose prequel to an episode of "Wolverine and the X-Men" (2008) entitled 'Wolverine vs Hulk'.
  • The expletive used by Deathstrike, 'gaijin', means "foreigner" in Japanese.
  • A scene in "Hulk Vs Wolverine" features a hall of tubes with floating babies. One of the tubes reads "X-23". X-23 was a clone of Wolverine, the 23rd attempt at cloning Wolverine and the first successful attempt. The character was created by the writers Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost, who worked on "X-Men: Evolution" (2000) as well as on this feature.
  • This is the sixth time Steven Blum has voiced Wolverine.
  • Brian Drummond has a brief speaking cameo as the Army officer who informs Wolverine about the Hulk. Drummond had earlier voiced the character Agent Pratt for "Fantastic Four: Hard Knocks (#1.4)" (2006), who was tasked with capturing the Hulk.
  • Deadpool is well-known for having the ability of "fourth-wall awareness" in the comics, where he is aware he is in a comic book, and would frequently make comments about it. He displays this ability in the feature, when he tells his teammates to "strike a pose" for the viewer.

  • This is the fourth battle between the Hulk and Thor (excluding video games), the first having occurred in _"The Incredible Hulk Returns" (1988)_ (TV). The second being "The Incredible Hulk" (1996) {Mortal Bounds (#1.9)}, and the third being _Ultimate Avengers (2006).
  • Grey DeLisle, who voices Sif in "Hulk vs. Thor," voiced her rival the Enchantress (Amora) in "The Super Hero Squad Show" (2009).
  • Loki exclaims that "The creature's power is incredible!" This is a homage to two titles that the Hulk is known by: the creature, popularized from "The Incredible Hulk" (1978), and of course the Incredible Hulk line of comics.
  • Voice actor Tom Kane, who voices Professor Thornton in "Hulk vs. Wolverine," is noted for voicing Professor Utonium in "The Powerpuff Girls" (1998), Professor Robert Kaufman in _Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase (2001)_(V), and more significantly Professor Xavier in _Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (2006).
  • "Hulk vs Thor" opens with a shot of a rainbow bridge connecting the realms of Asgard and Earth. This is a tribute to "Mighty Thor" (1966), which opened with the same scene.
  • Although the timeline of the Hulk Vs, Thor film is set before The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Thor doesn't recognize Hulk when they team up against Graviton.
