Trivia

  • HYDRA were featured in the script for Daredevil as an international arms cartel.
  • This version of HYDRA closely resembles the 616 version of the Purifiers, a paramilitary organization co-ordinated by Reverend William Stryker dedicated to hunting down mutants in the name of God. The Purifiers were first introduced in the X-Men graphic novel "God loves, Man kills", the comic that X2 was loosely based on.
