In 2003, Toy Biz released a series of X2 action figures in conjunction with the movie. The line was much smaller than that of the first movie, and omitted characters like Storm, Jean Grey, Mystique, and even Lady Deathstrike. Also, unlike the figures from the first movie, which were gimmick-based and had limited articulation, the X2 figures were all done in the style of Toy Biz's Marvel Legends line, which meant they had greatly improved sculpting and were much more posable.
