Raven Darkhölme (Earth-11052)

Raven Darkhölme, also known as Mystique, is a level-5 mutant who possesses shapeshifting, superhuman strength, endurance, an accelerated healing factor and longevity. She is the mother of Kurt Wagner, the adoptive mother of Rogue and a member of the Brotherhood of Mutants.

"The Cauldron"[]

When Magneto revealed his ultimate plan for mutantkind with Asteroid M, he had Mystique fight Storm to prove herself. However, she lost and then guided the other Brotherhood of Mutants and the X-Men members left behind to the secret base. She went into the chamber with the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak where her powers were greatly amplified.

Mystique used Rogue to get inside the mansion and then blew it up.

Mystique was later manipulated by Mesmero to release the ancient mutant Apocalypse. However, releasing him turned her to stone.

Mystique had really been altered into becoming one of the Horsemen of Apocalypse. Her powers were radically altered. Though Apocalypse was defeated and she was released.

Mutant Physiology: Mystique is an extremely powerful mutant who possesses shapeshifting, superhuman strength, endurance, an accelerated healing factor and longevity. Mystique also has blue skin, red hair and yellow eyes.
- Shapeshifting: Mystique can manipulate her biological make up, skin cells, alter and transform her own body, hair, skin, voice, muscles, tissues, nails, organs, appearance, scent, etc, any and all physical traits anyway she wishes. She could take on the appearance of other humans, animals or even objects. After Mystique's powers are upgraded by the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, she can not only change her physical appearance, but her scent as well.
- Superhuman Strength: Mystique is much stronger than normal humans and most other mutants. She was able to lift Toad off the ground with one hand relatively easily.
- Superhuman Endurance: Mystique's endurance is far more greatly developed than normal humans and most other mutants.
- Accelerated Healing Factor: Mystique's metabolism allows her to heal much faster, more extensively, and efficiently than normal humans and most other mutants.
- Superhuman Immunity: After Mystique's powers are upgraded by the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, she is now completely immune to all forms of telepathy, even from someone as powerful as Professor X.
- Superhuman Longevity: Due to Mystique's accelerated healing factor, she ages much slower than normal humans and most other mutants. Despite being at least 70 years old, she still maintains the physical appearance of a woman in her prime.

Weaknesses[]

Limited Replication: Mystique cannot copy any powers, abilities, skills or memories of another individuals, as she can only copy their appearance ad voice. Mystique can only partially imitate someone's personality and attitude, allowing perceptive enemies to see through her disguises.

Former Weaknesses[]

Limited Replication: While Mystique could change her physical appearance, she could not change her scent, allowing perceptive enemies who have superhuman senses, such as Wolverine to see through her disguises. But after Mystique's powers were upgraded by the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, this was no longer a weakness for Mystique.

Trivia[]

In the comics, Mystique can't shrink down or grow without altering her body's density.
Raven was a level-4 mutant at the beginning of the series of X-Men: Evolution, until her powers are upgraded by En Sabah Nur/Apocalypse in the series finale, thus, she becomes a level-5 mutant.
