Jones is a student at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. He was captured during William Stryker's attack on the mansion, but he was saved by Wolverine and Colossus.

Jones attended Xavier's class as a student and was told to turn on the TV by blinking.

- Mutant Physiology: Jones is a mutant who possesses cyberkinesis and superhuman stamina.
- Cyberkinesis: Jones can manipulate technology. He can manipulate electronics by blinking both of his eyes.
- Superhuman Stamina: Jones possesses far more stamina than normal humans and most other mutants, allowing him to remain physically active for long periods of time; he can never get tired unless he rendered unconscious by tranquilizers, sedatives or other similar drugs.
