Robert Bruce Banner is a renowned scientist who specialises in the field of gamma radiation.
Bruce is able to transform into the Hulk; whenever he is stressed or enraged; due to the fact that he was exposed to gamma radiation that genetically modified his DNA.
Bruce was exiled from Earth and wound up on Sakaar; where he became it's champion and king.
Biography[]
Planet Hulk[]
After he is proven to be too dangerous and destructive on Earth, The Hulk is sent away on a shuttle into space by the Avengers where he crash lands on the planet, Sakaar and is later imprisoned by the Sakaarian Imperial Guards under the orders of the Red King. While imprisoned on Sakaar, Hulk meets other prisoners: Hiroim, Korg, Miek, Elloe Kaifi, Lavin Skee, an Android, and a few hived natives.
Hulk along with the other slaves are forced to fight in three gladiator games and then later confronts the tyrannical and ruthless Red King but later thwarted by the Red King's right hand lieutenant, Caiera. After fighting in the three gladiator games, Hulk is hailed a hero by the people of Sakaar which secretly enrages the Red King to orchestrate Hulk's death along with the other prisoners.
During the night, Hulk reluctantly meets with Caiera who tells him about her troubled past with the invasion of the creatures known as the "Spikes" and how she met the Red King when he was a young prince. Then, Caiera warns Hulk that his popularity on Sakaar is turning the people against the Red King and the king wants him dead but Hulk refuses to escape.
Later on, Hulk, Korg, Miek and Hiroim battle Beta Ray Bill in the arena where Hulk successfully defeats him but he beats Bill nearly to death. After the battle, The Red King offers freedom to The Hulk and the Warbound their freedom in exchange for the execution of Elloe but Hulk and the others refuse to let Elloe die in exchange for their freedom. After being freed from Beta Ray Bill, Hulk threatens to kill the Red King if comes after him.
Afterwards, Hulk leaves Hiriom and the others to find his own way home but Caiera later catches up to him and the two engage in a all-out fight. Hulk, Caiera and the Warbound defend the people of Sakaar during the second Spikes invasion.
Hulk then defends his new friends when he gets infected by the Spikes but later Caiera finds the unconscioused Hulk who miracurouly survived the bomb explosion and Caiera brings him and the shackled Warbound to the Red King as trophies.
But Hulk surprises the Red King and then Hulk, Caiera and his friends fight against the Red King and his guards. Finally, Hulk successfully defeats the Red King and then Caiera infects him with a spike bug and the Red King is later killed by his Deaths Head guards.
Hulk later becomes king of Sakaar with Caiera ruling by his side as his queen and new wife along with Korg, Elloe, Miek, and Hiroim who are hailed heroes by the people of Sakaar.
Character traits[]
Hulk is constantly enraged and draws his strength from this rage. The angrier Hulk is the more powerful he becomes. This aspect of his physiology grants him virtually limitless strength. If Hulk calms down to a certain point, he will revert back to the form of Bruce Banner. Hulk is one of the most powerful beings in the universe and he usually claims to be "the strongest one there is" (due to his infinite strength).
