F.R.I.D.A.Y. is an A.I. created by Tony Stark with a female personality. F.R.I.D.A.Y. was uploaded into the Iron Man armor as a back up for J.A.R.V.I.S. when he merged with Vision.
Biography[]
Avengers: Age of Ultron[]
F.R.I.D.A.Y. was integrated into Tony Stark's Iron Man armor after he and Bruce Banner successfully put J.A.R.V.I.S.' matrix into Vision. F.R.I.D.A.Y. helped Stark while he was trying to figure out how to get a city in Sokovia down safely after Ultron raised the city in an attempt to end all life on Earth.
Captain America: Civil War[]
F.R.I.D.A.Y. assisted Tony in performing an investigation through various sources to locate the true identity of Zemo, verifying Steve's suspicions, much to Tony's chagrin. When Zemo later enraged Tony and convinced him and Steve to fight each other over Bucky again, F.R.I.D.A.Y. gave Tony advice on how to counteract Steve's fight moves; but Steve quickly changed his tactics and Tony was ultimately defeated by his former friend, who destroyed his armor with his shield.
Spider-Man: Homecoming[]
F.R.I.D.A.Y. informed Peter that Tony had ended the phone call with him after Peter tried to continue talking to the Mark XLVII.

Avengers: Endgame[]
F.R.I.D.A.Y. continued to assist Tony even after five years had passed and Tony had retired to a lakeside house. With F.R.I.D.A.Y.'s help, Tony was able to come up with a way to time travel using the Quantum Realm and she continued to assist him during his trip into the past and in battle as Iron Man.
Character traits[]
F.R.I.D.A.Y. is a considerable departure in persona from J.A.R.V.I.S., the latter being a lot snarkier and prone to bringing up details that Tony would not have thought of on his own. F.R.I.D.A.Y. tends to state the obvious more – or rather – what would be obvious to the audience, if not to Tony himself. Her compassion for Tony is more readily apparent than is J.A.R.V.I.S.' too, as she seems to genuinely care about the safety of others as opposed to whether or not all her equations on logistics make sense.
F.R.I.D.A.Y. also expresses a reluctance to speak unless she feels the words are absolutely essential, unlike J.A.R.V.I.S. being willing to ramble more. She seems hesitant to address anyone other than Tony, whereas J.A.R.V.I.S. would address others freely and gladly.
Capabilities[]
F.R.I.D.A.Y.'s abilities appear to be mostly identical to those of J.A.R.V.I.S.
