- The interactions between the Punisher and Daredevil in this episode are based on Garth Ennis' run of Punisher comics from the 00's.
- The old man the Punisher talks to on the rooftop is a Vietnam vet. This is an obvious nod to the Punisher's origins as a former Marine who served in Vietnam.
- Contains a fight scene near the end, filmed to look like one take, when actually there are several.
