Behind the scenes
- In the first version of Spider-Man 2 script, the villains were Dr. Octopus, The Lizard and Black Cat.
- In the cancelled sequel of Spider-Man 3, that was named Spider-Man 4, Curtis would be transformed in The Lizard, according with Sam Raimi's declarations.
- In Spider-Man 3 when Peter brings him a sample of the venom symbiote from his costume to analyze, Connors states, "I am a physicist, not a biologist". This directly contradicts the origins of Connors' lizard-related research from the comics.
- Conners never became The Lizard in this series, although it was rumored that he was one of the villains in the canceled Spider-Man 4, meaning that he finally would have transformed into his alter-ego.
