Colossus is a mutant with the ability to turn his body into an unknown form of metal which grants him incredible levels of physical strength and durability. When he is in his metal form, Colossus has enormous strength, the fullest extent of which is unknown. When he is in his human form, Colossus still wields great human strength although it is unknown if he possesses superhuman levels of strength while in that state. However he still has enough physical strength while in his human form to effortlessly carry a large television under one arm while walking. Colossus is completely bullet-proof and invulnerable to most, if not all, weapons while in metal form. It is not known how he would react to electrical attacks but Magneto is capable of lifting him with his magetically based powers due to Colossus' metal body.

Biography
X-Men
In X-Men, Colossus has a brief cameo as a student sketching in the Xavier Institute's courtyard.
X2: X-Men United
When the X-mansion was being attacked by Stryker's soilders Peter used his metel body to stop the soilders and attacked two of them and punched them throw a wall aswell as he rescues Siryn. He finds Wolverine and says that he could help him but Wolverine said he should help the kids to which are running away from the X-mansion.
X-Men: The Last Stand
Peter is in the Danger Room and is runnig with Rogue they both hide but the Sentinal fires and hits the ground and soon as that happens with Rogues power peter holds onto her head and she absourbs the metal and goes onto her skin and protects them both from the hit. They gather up then Wolverine calls over peter calling him "tin man" and Wolverine tells him to throught him which peter does and then Wolverine decaptate the Sentinal.
He is seen at Professor X funeral.
Later on he helps the X-men fight on Alcatraz Island to stop the Brotherhood from killing Leech. During the fight peter is mostly punching the mutants with them falling hard to the ground. He then again teams up with Wolverine to throw him to Magneto.
Relationships
- In the comics him and Kitty Pryde have a relationship but in the movie they don't even talk to each other.
Behind the scenes
- Its unknown if the actor can't talk with the suit on since there were no scenes with him when he has the suit on.
- In X-men 2 he only had a cameo
- He only had one line in X-men the last stand "yeah she took off"
- In the novelization of the film, Colossus and Shadowcat apparently had a brief relationship but broke up with Colossus still having feelings for the latter.
