"That’s more action for me, but there’s very little that I can say about the movie because everything is under wraps. It’s very hard for me to say anything, because I’m literally bound by contract not to speak about it. But I got to act with my childhood film idol, Robert Redford, and that’s a gift in itself. He’s amazing, he’s in his 70s but he is a good looking man! It was a dream come true! It’s so inspiring to know you’re on set with the actor from movies like Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid, All The President’s Men and The Natural. Things are very fast-paced on these US$200 million (S$255 million) movies, but when we finished the shoot, I had some time to chat with Redford. I found him to be very elegant and an independent thinker so I like him a lot."
"I am a fan of this genre. I think superhero movies are our modern mythology. They address a lot of our modern day fears. So I do enjoy being in those movies. I don’t deliberately seek out superhero movies, but somehow they have found me. I just go along for the ride."
"The Dark Knight was more a crime movie than a superhero movie. Captain America is more true to its comic origins and doing it was a lot of fun. I got to do some action and it was a fun way to spend one spring."
