  • She-Hulk will appear.[49]
  • Christine Everhart will return. [50]

  • CONFIRMED: The film will use the Civil War storyline.[51][52][53]
  • The film will also take cues from the Trial of Captain America film, and there will be a plot line circling around whether or not Bucky Barnes should be considered the world's longest serving POW, or if he should be held accountable for the Winter Soldier's actions. This will be yet another thing that puts Steve and Tony at odds, as Arnim Zola implied that the Winter Soldier was responsible for the deaths of Howard and Maria Stark.
  • The World Security Council will be featured in the film.
  • The Registration Act might be brought up due to the events of Age Of Ultron.
  • S.H.I.E.L.D. will be featured in the film.
  • HYDRA will be the main antagonists of the film.
  • The film will start with a flashback about the death of Howard Stark and his wife at the hands of the Winter Soldier.
  • Agent 13 will be revealing her identity to Steve as Peggy's niece. [54]
  • Bucky will be working together with Fury.[55]
  • The film may focus on the friendship and history of both Steve Rogers/Captain America and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier.[56][57]
  • The film may involve HYDRA and the Real Mandarin of the Ten Rings working together.[58]
  • Bucky may become Captain America[59] and start a romance with Black Widow.[60]
  • Bucky will be a central character of the film.[61]
  • Steve, Sharon, Falcon and Hawkeye may form a team to take down HYDRA.
  • HYDRA's goal is to bring back Red Skull, the same way Dr. Selvig and S.H.I.E.L.D. Scientists use the Tesseract in The Avengers.[62]
  • The film will have a new twist on Winter Soldier.[63]
  • DEBUNKED: Captain America's team may consist of The Vision, Haweye, Falcon, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver.[64]
  • The writers may try to work M.O.D.O.K. into the script of the film.
  • The film will be based on the Fallen Son storyline.
  • DEBUNKED: The film may implement the Death of Captain America storyline
  • The film will focus on Steve's quest to track down Bucky and help him, possibly racing against Baron Zemo or another HYDRA villain.
  • CONFIRMED: Stark will be the film's antagonist.
  • DEBUNKED: The film may use the Secret Wars storyline.[65]
  • DEBUNKED: The film will use the Storyline about The Captain America of the 50's.[44]
  • DEBUNKED: Captain Marvel may replace Beast (due to Fox's rights for the X-Men film series) in the Secret Avengers adaption.[66]
  • Black Widow will be captured, and Scott Lang will try to save her as Ant-Man.
  • CONFIRMED: There will be a post end credit scene from Ant-Man which will lead up to the film.[67][68][69]
  • DEBUNKED: Peter Parker/Spider-Man will be fourteen years old in the film.[70]
  • CONFIRMED: Peter Parker/Spider-Man will be fifteen years old in the film.
  • CONFIRMED: Captain America will mention Spider-Man. (Spidey's in the movie. It'd be a wonder if he didn't)[71]
  • DEBUNKED: Cap, Falcon, Black Widow, and Hawkeye will be among those forming an allegiance against Iron Man, War Machine, the Vision, and Ant-Man, while the Black Panther and the Scarlet Witch are "somewhere in the mix." [72][73]
  • Baron Zemo and Brock Rumlow/Crossbones will be the main villains.
  • CONFIRMED: Crossbones will also "wear the skull mask that covers his entire face, which is said to be a hybrid mask/helmet."[72]
  • Sam Wilson aka the Falcon will be getting a costume upgrade that is said to be a "modified" version of his Captain America: The Winter Soldier suit, "but with grey and red colors."[72]
  • Scott Lang will eventually take on his Giant-Man form at some point during the battle, given the Ant-Man movie will see the size-shifting hero "enlarge certain objects while [he and Yellowjacket] are still shrunk." It's further reported that a familiar-looking Winter Soldier will be a key focus in the movie, given his "ability to be a hero [again]," yet he's also been a villain.[72]
  • However, it is Crossbones who initially causes the MCU version of the Superhero Registration act, whose main concept asks "if there is a threat - should The Avengers show up, is it their place to do so, and what gives them the authority to do so?".[72]
  • Crossbones will be "the catalyst that kicks off the film, instigating an attack that causes much death and destruction, causing the government to step in and put out the Superhero Registration Act."[72]
  • Black Panther will have "his own agenda," and his role in the Phase 3 movie will be a significant one.[72]
  • There will be a fight scene between Black Panther and Hawkeye.[74]
  • Black Panther is on the hunt for the Winter Soldier.[75]
  • T'Challa/Black Panther will actually side with Tony Stark initially, though his loyalties may shift as the story progresses. This obviously places him in direct conflict with Captain America, and the two ultimately come to blows. As expected, Panther's costume is "shrouded in Vibranium", and during his battle with Rogers we'll see him "scratching Cap's shield easily and his prowess will prove to be a viable threat." We can also expect to see a "sleek Panther jet of some type," which apparently looks very "Stark-like."
  • War Machine will be getting a huge armory upgrade, and is said to appear more "tank-like" in the film. He'll also have a new shoulder cannon which can be detached and "used as a kind of warhammer/baton."
  • Hawkeye will be adding some more purple and a full right sleeve to his costume - though probably best not to hold your breath for the Wolverine-like mask from the 616.
  • Scott Lang WILL debut his Giant-Man persona in this threequel, and he'll have a brand new "modern/techno stylish" outfit to go with it. Reportedly there will also be what sounds like an awesome visual of the character as Ant-Man, "standing on one of Hawkeye's arrows, ready to be launched."
  • Falcon will be getting a few additions such as wrist lasers, grappling hooks, and his falcon sidekick Redwing will appear as a robotic drone that'll be "linked" to Falcon, but that he obviously doesn't control telepathically.
  • CONFIRMED: Cap will be adding his trademark chain mail armor to his costume.[76]
  • The post end credit scene from Ant-Man will appear and the person that Sam knows about to help them is Scott.
  • There will be a teaser for Thor: Ragnarok.
  • Either Scott or Hank will become Giant-Man.[77]
  • CONFIRMED: Hawkeye, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man and The Winter Soldier will be on Captain America's side & Vision, Spider-Man, Black Widow and War Machine will be Iron Man's side.[78][79]
  • Spider-Man will begin on Iron Man's side then change to Cap's side.
  • In Germany their shooting a head to head fight with Captain America and Spider-Man.[80]
  • Stark will created the Web Shooter.[81]
  • CONFIRMED: Peter has been Spider-Man for over a little year.[82]
  • Both the film and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will have a tied-in connected.[83]

  • CONFIRMED: Iron Man fighting both Captain America and the Winter Soldier.
  • CONFIRMED: Peggy Carter dies.
  • Iron Man throwing Cap, but not seeing Bucky and then getting subsequently punched in the face.
  • This is probably a misdirection, but Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow is apparently the rumored double agent and it sounds like she doublecrosses Cap. She is shown reporting to the government, including General Ross and Tony Stark, before her showdown with Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye.
  • More of the Black Widow/Hawkeye fight; Natasha looks to be in bad shape after Clint delivers a big blow.
  • Vision fighting both Falcon & Scarlet Witch.
  • More of the scene where Ant-Man thanks Cap for letting him be a part of the team. This time, Scott apparently pulls a Peggy and touches Steve's pecs to feel how big/firm they are at some point during the conversation.
  • CONFIRMED: Daniel Brühl's Baron Zemo makes an appearance.
  • CONFIRMED: Steve and Bucky hugging it out.
  • Redwing seriously looks amazing!! The trailer does open with Cap's team in the African Market. Falcon mans a stealthy Redwing making its way under a van filled with explosives. Cap orders the team to attack. Falcon does an super awesome dive from the rooftop he's in and doesn't pull out his wings until landing closely.
  • We see another van open and Crossbones steps up along with his goons; with the most prominent goon being Ex-Thanos actor Damion Poitier. Black Widow makes her way to the market in a very cool tracking shot reminiscent of her sequence in IM2 and does her signature leg wrap on Poiter. Falcon also does a pretty cool set of combat moves utilizing his wings.
  • You know those on set pics of Cap and the crowd screaming at something above them in fear? It's Cap throwing a grenade in the air. Someone fires a grenade at him (I think it's Crossbones) and it latches on to his shield. Cap tosses it in the air before it explodes. As Cap flinches at the air explosion, Crossbones kicks him hard from behind and their fight happens. I didn't notice anything different from the D23 descriptions in this one. Cap dismantles one of Crossbones' gauntlets pretty quickly. Crossbones then pops a blade out of the other gauntlet. Again, Cap beats him up and cracks his helmet. We don't get a good look at Rumlow's burnt face here.
  • VO by General Ross - looking a lot slimmer since his TIH appearance. Talks about vigilantism. We see a shot of - what looks like - Steve Rogers preventing a helicopter from crashing in slowmo. He pushes it away with one hand as his other hand is against a railing. We see his Avengers team going through a series of control rooms. They are led by Martin Freeman's character. In the blink-and-youll-miss-it moments he had, definitely felt more like a Henry Gyrich than an Everett Ross.
  • CONFIRMED: The Ant-Man post credits scene happens. Bucky does remember Steve. He tells him his mother's name and how he used to put newspaper in his shoes - you know D23 stuff. Best part of this scene is how Bucky delivers that line with an expression of relief and pain. Steve does a heartfelt smile. You just know how happy he is to have his best friend back.
  • Quick cuts of what looks like Cap smashing a soldier into a column. Bucky in his red jacket outfit punching other soldiers. Several shots of Crossbone with a different looking mask; this time with a yellow looking visor. These Crossbone shots are intersected with scenes that are set in this building. We get to see that truck flip.. More shots of Crossbones walking down a hall. Lots of flickering lights in what appears to be the control center I mentioned earlier.
  • One of the more interesting shots in the trailer was Cap and Bucky walking in snow towards a secret looking base in full superhero attire. The shot was barely 2 seconds but man did Bucky & Cap standing side by side in a mission.
  • Those Tony Stark lines to Steve about how he wanted to punch him in his perfect teeth? I was expecting it to be during a fight. Those scenes were set in a conference room, probably from the same venue where those control rooms are. We see a helmetless Iron Man open an elevator door with his hands and he has a huge black eye. Another with Tony Stark walking behind General Ross.
  • Super fast glances at the other heroes. Hawkeye doing Hawkeye stuff with his bow. The Vision pondering as he plays chess in a suit. There's also a super fast shot of Black Panther revealing his claws as he's locking up against Hawkeye's bow.
  • We then see that infamous airport fight scene thanks to those leaked pics from a few weeks back. The money shot of Cap's team running though the tarmac was unimpressive to be honest. One dude online said it best - "It looked like the scene in Anchorman when all the news teams converged in that alley and fought.". It looked really goofy and awkward. But then again, this is the D23 trailer they cut a month ago. A ton could be added to that scene for some kickass superhero flair.
  • That end tag with Ant-Man was what you'd expect it to be. The theater went insane just seeing Paul Rudd in the trailer. He's going to be one of the best additions in the movie no doubt. He cops a feel of Steve's pecs.[84]

  • CONFIRMED: The film will be in Phase 3.[85]
  • CONFIRMED: The Russo Brothers will be returning to direct.[86]
  • CONFIRMED: Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely will be returning to write.[87]
  • CONFIRMED: The film will be released in theaters on May 6, 2016, and will begin production in April 2015.[88]
  • CONFIRMED: Director of Photography Trent Opaloch will return.[89]
  • CONFIRMED: Marvel may be working with Sony to use Spider-Man, as he is an important character in the Civil War comics storyline.
  • "The Accords" mentioned in the mid-credits scene in Ant-Man are "The Sokovia Accords", they are ones who say when superhumans can be used in action.
  • New footages from the film will be shown at the 2015 New York Comic Con.
  • The trailer will be shown durning the season premiere of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode.
